These are not advertized as having adjustable Tension and Compression but they actually are very flexible.
The 1.25" of linear T&C motion range is normally divided into 3/8" compression and 7/8" tension,
but this can be reversed by interchanging the 2 spacers (sections of tubing) on the screw inside the shank.
Or any ratio of T&C that totals 1.25" or less can be created with custom spacers. I have even seen extra long spacers
used in these to create a rigid chuck with no Tension or Compression.
